So, I’m trying a new template because I wanted to have a pretty custom header like other bloggers. There’s some aspects of this template that I don’t like as much as the old one. For instance, I realized that there isn’t a link to an ‘edit post’ function with each published post. But I do like the look overall. Let me know what you think!

Yes, the simplicity and bright look appeals to me. I could never do one of the darker templates. I saw your template as I browsing through – it’s a good one too.
It’s a very clean layout. If you ever want a customized header, I do a little Photoshopping and I just found a huge repository of pretty and free textures and fonts. 🙂

I’m not sure about the book at the top of the sidebar though – the simple clip art doesn’t really go with the sophistication of the rest of the page. Other wise it looks really good!

Lit Omnivore – Thanks, I’ll admit I haven’t thought much beyond, “I want to use one of my own photos in a header,” but I’ll let you know. 🙂
Scott – maybe, but I think for some modifications you have to be a paying member. Which I’m not at this point.
Farmlanebooks – Yeah, I was thinking that the book graphic might have to go. It was okay in the old template because there were no other pictures, but I too was finding it incongruous with the new banner and the new template. So thanks for seeing and noting the same thing!
