Sarah Rayne’s A Dark Dividing proved a great book to start off the read-a-thon. I was already in the middle of the book when I started reading this morning so things were building up to a suspenseful climax – astonishing revelations were made, lives were in danger, all that. Very splendid – good choice for the RIP Challenge too! Mortmain House, the chilling center of the story, will remain imprinted on my mind for a while yet.
The book actually turned out to be 535 pages not 567, as the last bit is an excerpt from another book by Rayne’s. So that makes:
267 pages read
1 book finished (though only 1/2 book counts as part of the read-a-thon)
I’m off to take a quick shower and eat something, and then I’m going to visit some other Read-a-Thon bloggers to comment. (Thanks to all that commented on my start post!) Then I will be selecting a new book to read. Yay!
Yeah it feels good to finish a book though!
Congrats on finishing a book! Happy reading 🙂
This looks like a lot of fun – I wish I could join in!
