It’s been a while since I’ve joined in on the Book Blogger Hop, hosted by Jennifer of Crazy-For-Books. Hello to any visiting bloggers! Let me briefly introduce myself: my name is Christy and I live in the D.C. metropolitan area. I read a variety of books, from classics to travel writing to thrillers. I recently got a new job that requires a longer commute, so I’ve been polishing off a number of audio books as well.
The question for this Blog Hop is:
What is the one bookish thing you would love to have, no matter the cost?
I would love to have a true cozy nook for reading, like a window seat. I live in an apartment currently, and while it is a decent apartment, it’s devoid of nooks. It is a very regularly shaped apartment.
Following that darn mechnical bunny around. His gears and cogs are wound tight.
I would want a library at my finger tips, wait I have a Nook. I would want a million books to be loaded on it now 🙂
Fictional girl… I have boys but I think I would recommend her to read Twenty Boy Summer and Speak.

A nook sounds great- my place is completely devoid of nooks too. Commutes are great for extra reading, aren’t they? I’m enjoying travel books and biographies at the moment…anything that lets me forget I’m on my way to work!
My home is actually just nooks (perhaps it was compiled from the nooks taken from your homes to square them up?) I’d prefer a wildly successful bookstore of my own.
I have a regular shaped, nook-less apartment too. But it is overflowing with books! so I make the sofa my comfy book spot.
my bookish dream is to have full collections of evreything my favorite authors have ever written. where I’d put it all, I have no idea.
Just hoppin’ on by to say “Hi!” Ooo…a window seat would be nice!
Have a fangtastic Halloween weekend!

I would love to have a nook too. We sort of made one in my current apartment with a big chair in a corner, but it’s not a true nook with shelves and a seat you can just curl up in. That would be fun.
